
September 25, 2022: We arrived in Spain and spent one day in Madrid. First stop was the Real Jardín Botanico:

We took a “Tuk Tuk” tour of central Madrid. Our driver gave us a whirl-wind tour, during which we only got a few photographs:

The Temple of Debod – This 2nd century BCE temple was transported to Madrid as a gift from Egypt in thanks for Spanish help with the Aswan Dam.
The following morning, we had breakfast at the best cafetería in Madrid (in our humble opinions), and then left for Vigo, Galicia, in the northwest of Spain.
