California Trip April 2008 In April 2008 Elaine and William went to California to visit with family and to spend several days at Yosemite National Park. We chose early April because we hoped to see wild poppies blooming at the California Poppy Reserve. We thought that particular timing would get us to Yosemite before the summer crowds hit the park. We were also hoping that we would be extra lucky, and find the Yosemite waterfalls flowing well and wildflowers blooming there too. Here's what happened: Arriving in L.A.
